Freezes often, constantly scrolling, no NBC, tried it for 4 days and cancelled. Lots of improvements needed.

Need to have Apple TV app, have issues with airplay when it switches between ad and show.

Kinda pricey but worth every penny if your a nhl fan you can watch your home team at home and away no one else let your do that and I can dvr my games and share them AWESOME

i think the quality of streaming depends on your wifi signal. So if you have crummy wifi probably not the best thing to switch up your cable provider. otherwise if you want a good streaming tv service it’s awesome it’s like a portable tv in your pocket (so long as you keep your chrome cast with you and take it everywhere) it’s literally tv in your pocket. it’s dope.

they just made it working with roku player, the app on roku still looks the same, but i download it using old version of itunes youtube tv. i dont know if it made a differnece, but its working fine on roku player,

Would have liked to try, but automatically committing for a monthly pay of 39.99 is just one step over the line. When the trial is one month, you will remember, with the trial being only one week, you cannot really have enough experience to like it. With their system of automatically charging after just one week, you are "hooked" not very service friendly. For me this is a NO until there is a free trial with no automatic billing thereafter, but a request if I like the service and only then a commitment. Poor choice of aggressive marketing.

In airplay mode through my iphone, its heads or tails if the commercial will play on the TV or if ill have to switch it back to my phone. Then restream it.

Bring it to Hawaii!!!!!

Edit: iPhone X support added the next day after writing this. Changing from 1 to 4 stars. It’s 4/5 now since it’s overall very modern and efficient. It’s still missing a few key features though (like quickly going between multiple channels and no PIP support on iPad). A conglomerate such as Google should have released an update for their new SUBSCRIPTION product already. The regular YouTube app was updated very quickly. Why is this app, where you have paying customers, not even updated yet for the iPhone X display? This doesn’t make the product itself seem worthwhile if they don’t even put this sort of effort in.

I rave about YoutubeTv to anyone who will listen. As someone who had to suffer with Charter/Spectrum, I was super pumped when YouTubeTv launched in my area. I read about it for months and was really excited to test it with the 14 day free trial. I have to give youtube props, because its a really good start. Unlimited cloud DVR and a decent number of channels for $35 a month is great. I tried several other streaming services before choosing YouTube and the streaming quality on this app beat all others by a mile. The app almost never skips or freezes. Here are my suggestions: The library needs to be fixed. First, there needs to be more recording options. If I want to record a show, I dont want it to record a million repeats. I want a "new episode only" option. And in my library, I want all of the NEW "first-run" episodes only that I havent watched, and I want the option to delete them from my queue once Ive watched them. Im having a hard time keeping track of what I have or havent watched because episodes move out of the "new" folder after 7 days. Next, there needs to be better fast forward/rewind options. The slider doesnt work great at pin-pointing a spot to start playing. A more traditional fast forward, rewind button would be better than the "skip ahead 15 seconds" button. Also, because you have to cast to tv from your mobile device, you cant use your phone at all when streaming or else the app freezes and you have to disconnect from chromecast and reconnect. Just a few kinks to work out and Id give it 5 stars, but an awesome start. You really cant beat the price. If youre willing to make some sacrifices with channel selection, YoutubeTv is a great way to save money and get rid of cable. Im hoping the Viacom channels will be added as well as HBO sometime soon. Id definitely pay for more options. Id also suggest an a la carte channel option!

It’s impossible to cancel before you start getting billed. It doesn’t show up on you Iphone subscriptions and they app developers never responded to my request to cancel. Bull$hit is what this app is definitely not worth a $50 so called free trail

Thank you YouTube for optimizing the app for the new iPhone X screen. Love the layout and the way all the items pop out at you. I know you guys are working very diligently. However, please also add the “pinch to zoom” or “zoom icon at upper right hand corner” for full screen viewing regardless of the notch, just like you do with the YouTube app. Hopefully that will be incorporated soon so I can give you 5 stars! Thank you again and keep up the great progress.

With a paid subscription you get 4 to 6 mandatory commercials. You will not be able to fast foreword through them. Hey YouTube Toyota makes good cars but I’m not going to buy one. Like cable you get a ton of channels you will not watch. I’d love to remove channels I don’t care from .

It was working fine but then lost connectivity with Samsung TV. I’ve done all the trouble shooting and still doesn’t work. Not thrilled. Was there an update I didn’t know about? Help.

I like this App no more missed shows Just record. Easy to use. I love the live local channels no other similar apps have it available in my area. I have tried other services and I like this one best.

I i have to buy it to watch live TV? Oh come on! My mom won’t let me buy anything on my iPad! This needs a lot of improvements plus it loads too slow nope I’ll watch my own TV for now or get a new app that you can watch live TV without paying

I enjoy the service on my iPad and phone, but will likely discontinue if the Apple TV app never comes. Sling TV and others are already on my OTT devices.

Thanks for making the app seamless on my Samsung Smart TV. You told me in September it was coming and it did. Now let’s get CBS Live.
