Missing a few key features but overall good

Edit: iPhone X support added the next day after writing this. Changing from 1 to 4 stars. It’s 4/5 now since it’s overall very modern and efficient. It’s still missing a few key features though (like quickly going between multiple channels and no PIP support on iPad).

A conglomerate such as Google should have released an update for their new SUBSCRIPTION product already. The regular YouTube app was updated very quickly. Why is this app, where you have paying customers, not even updated yet for the iPhone X display? This doesn’t make the product itself seem worthwhile if they don’t even put this sort of effort in.
