I like the app it’s very well put together. However can you please add the following: TNT, TBS, MLB network, NHL network thanks.

While the UI is FAR better than Hulus live TV offering, Google needs to start playing nice with the other tech leaders. I have a Panosonic Smart TV, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Echo Show and YuoTube TV cannot be used on any of them b/c there are no YouTube TV apps for them. When I want to watch live TV on my cell phone, all is good. But thats not where I want to watch! Come on, Google!!! Stop acting like a 5 year old and play nice with your siblings in tech.

If one had a love for cable tv as it currently exists and then it was made available on phones, tablets, and multiple TVs without an extra charge, it would appear to be a great value and reduced hassle for sure. However, as a non-cable subscriber, why would I pay $40 per month to watch commercials? Make this commercial-free like youtube red and I’m in, even if that means a 15 minute delay on live shows. These days that’s what it would take with all the ad content on cable and broadcast.

1) As someone who subscribes to YouTube Red, Music AND TV, I would like it if there were a bundle package option available; 2) there are times when the audio just disappears and won’t come back; 3) if I’m paying $40 for the service, why can’t I play the programs in the background while I have other apps open/running? That’s available with YT Red, so why not with YTTV? I am subscribing mainly for the news channels and I only really need to listen, not watch.

The best selection of channels for the money. Great picture quality and DVR function. I only wish you could add premium channels and had CNN on the app. I miss Anderson Cooper

Been waiting forever!

Is really difficult to get through commercials when connected to Apple TV. Google needs to fix this ASAP. I don’t think is worth $40 bucks the way it is.

The whole point of on demand TV is to get away from ads. Even when you record a show, not on-demand, the providers have still found a way to force you to watch the ads. We stream to Apple TV and each time the ads come on, the screen share disconnects. When we reset up everything, more F’n ads to re-watch. At $35/month, YouTube TV gets one-star until this is remedied.

I have to delete and re download this app every time I want to cast something to my TV. I love YouTube tv and all of its functions but can’t cast to my TV from the app unless I delete and re download it. The cast button appears in the upper right hand corner and works perfectly, but as soon as I disconnect or close out the app the button disappears until I delete and re download. Is there a fix for this???

there is no YouTube TV app for Apple TV yet. Will renew subscription when there is an Apple TV app. I’m not going to pay $40 a month for an app that doesn’t have an app for Apple TV yet because I’m not going to watch tv on my phone or iPad every time I want to watch something. ? and I don’t want to have to Airplay something because sometimes I’d like to watch a clip or a friends snap during commercials and it’ll interrupt what I have playing. Sometimes I like to snap what I’m watching and I can’t do that while AirPlaying. Also, I wish there were more channels! ?

Its good, its cheap, it makes my life complete

I love it, love the (semi) low cost. What I don’t love is there is still commercials even when you record shows sometimes. It’s not great in that respect, but it’s definitely worth inspecting, definitely worth trying it out

I had Sling before, it was $25 per month. YouTube TV is $35. No service is perfect, both have technical flaws, but for what I need I think Sling is a better choice, so will most likely go back to that. YouTube TV screencast to my TV is enlarged too much, not sure how this can fixed. Sling sometimes has outages. I’d prefer Sling + Netflix for $35 per month over just YouTube TV.

Love YouTube TV just wish there was more channels!

Will only connect to the roku 5% of the time I try

Enjoy the flexibility to cast on any Chromecast supporting TV’s but lacking in programming. Specifically wished the channel list included CNN, TNT, TBS, WGN.

For$40 a month I think I’ll just keep what I have.

I’ve been using the Youtube live app on my phone and air-playing it to my Apple tv every day for over a month while waiting for an Apple tv app to be released. The app is constantly crashing, anytime I open another app or receive a phone call my playback is stopped and it takes minutes to find the program again and continue it. Eveeytime an ad begins to play I have to reopen the Youtube live app and press play on each individual app! I hate ads and especially hate having to wait around to start each one. I find it ridiculous that Youtube is charging for this service without a proper platform to utilize! Please fix the issue or I will renew my Sling membership.
