Although I like the live local channels, what will make me cancel my subscription is no support for Roku or other streaming devices...

I don’t wanna more this app and I don’t pay

This app automatically opened on my phone and subscribed me. When trying to find out information about it no one could answer anything about pricing or if it was free. Then two days later I get a charge for $47. If you are going to do this then you should have a way to inform us about the costs and require that we accept the charge before charging me. It may be the best app ever but just the fact that you charged me without asking you wont have my support.

This is a far superior tv service to Hulu tv however I have to restart my phone and chromecast several times a day to watch stuff. I have updated iPhone 7 plus and app. I enjoy the DVR, guide, movie selection, and not having to pay for Comcast very much! I cant give higher stars til they fix the bugs. I frequently have to disconnect and reconnect to chromecast just to unpause and then I loose my place. Its frustrating!!! Less than 30 seconds into an episode today and the app went unresponsive.

I can’t “cancel my YouTube TV membership at anytime.” I can’t cancel via the phone app, Xbox app, or website. The Xbox app refers me to the website or mobile app. The website refers me to an article. The article refers me to the app. The app brings me back to the article. This article states I can cancel at anytime and gives a link to the Apple site where I could cancel my subscription if it were through them. I didn’t have a subscription set up through Apple. I hit cancel via the app and I’m prompted with “contact support with more information.” Finally in touch with support and they end my subscription... why not allow me to just cancel and live my life. TLDR: wish there were just 1 or 2 more channels. Watching away from home is kinda trash because you can’t watch your local channels being away from your home zip. Ending subscription was painful 3/5

Its perfect on the Xbox one . Video quality is great and you can record unlimited shows and sports games. If your a sports fan you would love YouTube tv. IT NEVER FREEZES ON XBOX ONE & the on demand has a lot of good movies with only 4 or less ads throughout the WHOLE MOVIE

Pros: I really love the infinite DVR. The search capabilities are good as well as the ability to preview other live channels. Overall the app is great as is the service. Cons: It would be nice to have a guide page that let you scroll forward in time for all the channels rather than with a single channel at a time. My biggest issue is that it does a poor job of recovering the chromecast connection when I unlock the phone. I often have to disconnect and reconnect to regain control. The HULU app does a far better job of this. Cherry on top request: It would be great to have more options on the DVR aspect like recording only new airings and the ability to start recording a few minutes early and a few minutes longer.

I’ve been looking to cut cable forever. This app did it for me. I’m saving around $100/month. It’s got my local channels and the sports channels that matter to me. If I had to say something negative it’d be, ON DEMAND show commercial volume fluctuates, no Boomerang, and no Apple TV app....yet.

Very disappointed, but optimistic. H&G TV is one thing that most couples can bond over. Sports are okay, but why pay to watch commercials? I should have known the whole thing wasn’t perfected yet when a price wasn’t mentioned up front. Will wait and see where you are going with this app. I downloaded, but didn’t get past “Go” yet. I got to experience it at other people’s houses. Will keep my ears open for improvements. Keep up the good work. You have a lot of people rooting for you!

Main problem is the Chromecast button dissapears constantly (streaming tvs). On a side note, this problem does not exist when chromecast are used and connected. Seems like some polling protocol is missing. The only way to fix this is to uninstall / reinstall. :( . This is not ever a problem on the normal youtube app.

Just needs a dedicated app for Apple TV or Roku

This app need is great but really needs some work. First it needs to add an app for the Apple TV and it needs a TV guide for upcoming shows

I initially kept opening on demand (required commercials) in the browser when I was clicking on my recorded shows. A response from their team says that my recordings are there. Maybe I missed it, maybe they fixed it... it does seem right now.

Mediocre at best. Not one playback of a recordings worked 100% Most got about 3/4 the way through the movie then nothing but static. Had sound but no picture. And the price you pay for the few channels you get just aren’t worth it. If I’m paying 40.00 a month I’d at least expect the two movie channels not to have commercials.

The dvr controls leave a bit to be desired. Works fine if you have a stable high seed WiFi link. And play strictly from your device. Best performance I’ve seen is running from chrome browser on Mac. After you find the program and launch play it’s quite iffy if you want to control. Skip ahead, back, pause all kinda work if you don’t do too much. Worst case is when casting to chrome cast player on tv. Still works fine but controls seem to easily loose sync. Often have to stop and restart and cast again. When this happens the program starts from the beginning. Painful. Another frustration is inability to handoff from device to device and pick up playback from previous device. Why three stars? $35 is a lot better value than $200 to the cable company.

All of my Non-Local channels have a three hour delay and no one can explain why. So it’s not “live” TV for me.

In order to use this app on my TV, I have to delete the app from my phone and reinstall it every day. For whatever reason, chrome cast does not work consistently and less I reinstall the app. I wasn’t expecting this kind of glitchiness from YouTube

Infinitely better than sling. It works. Needs NFL redzone add on next year

I love YouTube TV so far, it is pretty well priced, Channel line up is pretty good (needs HBO and a few other), and versatility is awesome (being able to watch and all of your devices and have separate accounts is also awesome).

Would like to see a back button to flip back and forth between channels.
