Constantly kicks me off. I have it going through Apple TV, but constantly have to reboot. May go back to cable this is such a hassle...

If google owns youtube, how come I can’t tell google home to control youtube tv? ?

Cut the cord for $35 a month & stream everything via mobile devices? I’m there! That said, it needs some work: fast forward does not always work, occasional connectivity problems, no screen-in-screen capability, no private listening capability when casting … And now I’m reading that my chromecast may be screwing up my WiFi network? I’ll be interested to see if google devotes the resources to make this a truly top notch service.

Doesn’t have as many channels as directvnow but it has cbs local and doesn’t have the quality buffer. I dropped directvnow once I got this hands down better. DVR!!!

After 15 years I cut the cable. Great selection and great price.

So... a tv service that you can’t use it on the tv? The app is awesome, the UI is wonderful, but I ended up canceling the service, because the only way to use YouTube TV on the TV is “casting” What??? I’ll be back as soon as it has a proper Apple TV app.

...but as others have stated the app loses its ability to use its video controls (fast forward and rewind) when casting after a few minutes. Also, when watching some of your recorded programs you shouldnt be subjected to commercials when rewinding a part you may have missed or at all. Itd be great if we could lose the commercials for recorded shows altogether.

Major problems with this app. When I stream to chrome cast and an ad plays it freezes halfway through, then I disconnect and it plays another ad on my tablet, then re-case to chrome cast which then plays ANOTHER ad. I end up watching 6min of ads to watch 15min of TV.

Tried other apps to watch TV, Xfinity, Amazon Prime, etc. This is an easy one to handle. Love the recording and reminders option.

Channel schedule should be more user friendly and on the same page. Wish I could add time to live events when I record. Love that I can watch anywhere.

Ripoff for $40/month. Cable killer. Not likely.

Love It! Needs work on controls... fast forward/rewind etc. Also needs a timer. Will turn off, but next day, it’s still running last channel live.

Someone has brought together all (they can) of tv in one place! If you want to record a movie, it checks with the on demand apps of the channels, if found you can watch it immediately! They are trying to pull all of the content into one interface!

YouTubeTV it’s awesome... I used to pay a lot for cable with a lot channels that I didn’t watch... my family and enjoy it and love it!

Dang near impossible to cancel service!
