Hate it , yeah they have love Tv but when you try to cancel your membership it doesn’t let you. Absolutely hate it.

The App has been great so far for me. It has been stable and the picture quality is excellent both on LTE and on Wi-Fi. I don’t use my Chromecast with it but I do have an app on my android TV and on my Roku and it works very well there as well. For the iOS app you really need to add picture in picture so that I can utilize this app to its fullest and multitasking on my iPad. Please add this feature. Keep up the good work. Also please make a FireTV app as well.

Google has very strategically made it impossible to cancel your subscription. Every link leads you to another link until you go in circles back where you started. They say you can cancel anytime 24/7 but don’t provide the link. Hmm...

I was hoping it wouldnt be like actual TV. But 40 minute show still comes with 20 minutes of commercials. Why am I paying $35 for this?

They said it would be free 1 month and I got charge and then I canceled the subscription and then I get charge for two more months what f$ck now let’s see if they will reimburse!??

I was excited for the 7-day trial and ready to purchase, but alas, it’s just not there yet. Playback is clunky and makes you lose your spot. The super bowl was flawless, but right after it, the connections became spotty. Seems like their was an agreement to get the sponsor, YouTubetv, some prime Xfinity streaming so they’d look good, than it went back to being spotty. My other App streams work excellent.

YoutubeTV has helped me tremendously to keep uptodate with my CNBC channel whereever I go, just tune in to it while driving, travelling, or waiting for appointment. For mom and employee that is always on the go I would recommend this app. We have also reduced cost by disabling Cable TV to using YoutubeTV and chromecast.

I oils definitely recommend this and would love to keep using it but it’s just to much $! Love YouTube!!!!!

I know it is still a work in progress, but it is better than cable tv prices. The user interface is great, MUCH better than Hulu. Simple and easy to use, especially for non tech-savy ppl like my parents. It would be good if you could re-order or have favorite channels on top of the list so you dont have to scroll the entire list, but the ease of use was definitely the main selling point, even though Hulu and Sling has more channels. DVR feature seems cool but you cant record from the Apple TV app. I have to get on my phone to set programs to record. Once recorded I can watch them on the TV. Some local channels are not available but they are available through the local channel app. So I can watch the news on the local app but not on Y TV. Probably a licensing issue that hopefully will be resolved later. Overall it has everything I really NEED, but the more channels the merrier...

Its a great app.I like the fact that it has unlimited storage.So far there has been on buffering.I highly recommend it.John J

This app needs some features added ASAP. There is no ability to resume playback once you close the app if you are in the middle of a recording. There is also nothing to indicate which shows are watched/not watched. Key features that need to be resolved. Not worth the $35/mo

Unfortunately on appletv 4tg gen does not work. Takes to page to enter code never starts. Directtv Now and Slung tv are a better option. Every time when you enter code from devise to google on screen shows “start free trial down load the app in your phone” really I don’t want to see tv in my phone or mirror tv this is just a scam by google....

I like the app but too expensive I could see like a $14.99 or less per month

First off they say they offer channels like AMC but then some AMC programs are not on it. Also app has several bugs.

Way too many bugs, glitches and constant reset of any unit you’re using to cast. THIS NEEDS A LOT OF WORK!!! Right now and the ways it’s been.. I wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE!

Overall great app for cord cutters like myself. I have been trying out all the tv streaming services and this one is in the top 2 for sports fans like myself. Picture quality is great and stream reliability is outstanding with slight issues to Super Bowl (some studdering and buffering) the channel selection is low in my opinion for the asking price though, if YouTube was able to add a few more channels maybe history, discovery to name a few then it’d be a no brainer. This and vue are in my opinion the top two tv streaming apps for channels and reliability. (Hulu with live tv has a great channel selection but horrible buffering problems for me)

I currently use Tivo for OTA recording of programs and then download them to my iPad to watch when I’m flying on long trips. Sometimes the quality of the recording isn’t great due to weather etc so I was looking for an alternative. Signed up for this then discovered that you can’t DL your programs to your ipad or whatever. You can only live stream them. That’s a dealbreaker for me.

The on-demand selection is fantastic and the live streams are extremely high quality and low latency. Biggest downfall is that the cloud recording functionality doesn’t allow you to customize end times for programs. So if you know the program you want to record is going to start late because of sports, you have to record that show and the show after. If you don’t know it’s starting late and don’t set it up, you’ll miss the end of your show.

This has to be the worse offering for streaming ever. $40 a month for streaming with ads? Poor play back quality and the drops in connection to the casting control device. Lack of content finished it for me. No pickup where you left off... On and on. Just garbage.
