I tried it for a free week then canceled. I generally liked it. One problem was for example. I recorded the new episode of NCIS. Then the recorder automatically recorded old episodes from another channel. I have not figured out hove to stop that. Other DVR procedures are also a mystery even though I watched many YouTube tutorials. I won’t be a regular customer until the Hallmark channels are here. The wife. Eventually a provider will have true ALA carte menu choices. Or the different networks will be viewed on their individual Apps like CBS. That’s the one I’ll choose.

Love the app. The only things that would make it better for me would be better controls (like a skip forward or back 30sec button) and if they add Comedy Central. Otherwise, I have had NO crashes or bugs so far.

Best app to watch live tv

Unusable quite frequently due to the app seizing up and being non responsive in AppleTV. We have to restart the AppleTV frequently just for this app.

It’s a great app as I’m sharing it with my kids taking a vantage of their family share account privileges. I give it a full five star even though the only thing that I’m critical of is I wish you had more channels but I understand I joined very early on and it still is very much in it’s preliminary stage I’m sure it will develop and have more channels as time goes by, even so I highly recommend it. ?

Try to cancel from Roku, says to visit the site. Fine. Visit the site from my phone, says to download the app to cancel...ok. Download the app, says to do it from desktop...go to desktop and use a non-chrome browser, says to use chrome to cancel. Ridiculous

This is worse than any tv or cable you can buy, there is way too many ads and it makes you wonder if paying is even worth it.. these are back to back and at its best 2 minutes apart. I watch more ads than I do the shows. Don’t waste your money on this app.

This seemed like a great idea, but if I can only watch it on my computer or phone, it isn’t worth it. My Tv has a YouTube app but apparently it doesn’t support YouTube tv. I don’t have a chrome cast and I’m not going to buy one, nor can I share the screen to my tv via WiFi the way I can using the regular YouTube app. This all seems very limiting. I will be canceling after the free week.

Bought an Apple TV 4K today. Installed YouTube TV app and the app constantly quits working with the Apple TV remote track pad. You can’t scroll so you are just stuck on whatever screen it’s on. I know it’s not the remote or track pad because as soon as I back out and go anywhere else within Apple TV it works. As soon as I go back to YouTube TV.....nothing. Can’t scroll again. Ugh! Fix this issue and I’ll change to 5 stars.

This is by far the best way to cut the cable cord. It’s also the best value! No regrets.

I like that we now have Apple TV app, but not sure if you all are aware that it keeps freezing when logging in to watch tv. I have to delete app & reinstall on my Apple TV for it to work. Please send update to resolve pretty quick

I was planning installing this on my iPhone, but $40 a month is ridiculous. Reading the other comment about this app and what this goes through just to watch it. If it were cheaper. Maybe!!

Unlimited DVR storage! Multiple accounts! YouTube TV is awesome! Three simultaneous streaming! Just need to get access to Turner Network (CNN, TNT, HLN, etc). Also, need to add HBO and Starz. I may need to cancel my Directv NOW service.

I can’t even use it because it’s still not available in my area. I downloaded the app when it first came out and I redownloaded it on my new phone when I got it. When is this gonna be available to more people?

Good app. Great shows. Too many commercials!

Really nothing else to say. They’re the first streaming service I’ve found that has all the major broadcast networks and a solid mix of channels that people actually watch. Price is great, quality is great. So far beyond competitors like Sling and years ahead of anything Comcast or any other cable companies have.

If I can’t watch it on my tv what’s the point. I’m not buying chrome cast or roku when I have a ps4 and fire stick. I’ll stick with PlayStation Vue.

Whenever an ad block pops up, you are subjected to 2 minutes you can’t skip or forward through. If there’s s glitch between the ad block protocol and the content, you’ll get another freakin’ 2 minute ad block. If you click out of the app, the ad break stops and then when you click back in, the Ad block resets and starts again for 2 minutes. I tried watching a 30-min tv show and, after 18 minutes of ads and only 10 minutes of the program, I gave up. Why would anyone pay $40/month to watch nearly all ads? Why are there ads at all?!!

I signed up as soon as an AppleTV app was available. This update broke the search feature entirely. I can’t select anything but the letter a with a physical remote or with the remote app. Thankfully I’m still in my 1 week free trial! If they fix this, maybe I’ll try again but, but come on Google... stop using a bad port of a silly web app and write actual iOS and TVOS apps that follow Apple’s design guidelines. Don’t even get me started on scrubbing...
