We need Picture in Picture on iPad. Its a major inconvenience. I like to multitask. Also, I understand the ads on live television but whats with all the ads for on-demand shows? Theres way too much. I dont even consider watching on demand programming anymore. This excludes the FX network which rarely does this. Cmon YouTube. Im already giving you guys a lot with YouTube TV AND YouTube Red. I pay to NOT have ads and to gain the ability to watch or listen anywhere. Give us Picture in Picture and get a deal going to remove more ads. What is this Hulu? ?

The app didnt tell me what the price was until I got to the end. I got a pop up that said I was being charged $40 immediately. Would not have gotten it if I knew how much it costs

I love that I get all of my local channels live, can have up to 6 members with their own individual unlimited DVR, and can record entire shows as they air. I’ve tried DirecTV Now, Playstation Vue, sling, and Hulu with live tv, but nothing has combined the features and user experience quite like YouTube TV has. Highly recommended.

By far the best app of its kind I have tried hands down. They got it right!

I pay $40 per month and I get to share ‘basic cable’ with 5 others. Cancelled mom’s $140 per month satellite bill

This is a really good service and a decent app. I use primarily on a Roku Ultra streaming device with high speed (100 mbps) internet. Never have any issue with streaming and the channels load pretty quickly. The user interface for the channel guide is very similar to the ones you see on the cable or satellite platforms. The DVR is a little sketchy. I don’t think there is unlimited storage which is what the service advertises. Channels are still being added, hopefully they are working on adding more diverse channels and more channels that have programming for women. Some parts of the app are not intuitive. I’ve read some reviews that say you have to watch commercials in the recordings. This is not true. They probably don’t understand that the DVR library contains a section of On-Demand versions for all the shows that are scheduled to record. They are probably watching the On-Demand instead of their actual recording. I don’t think this is the user’s fault for not understanding, but just an example of how the app is not intuitive. Updates to the app that I would suggest: 1. The ability to store favorite channels. This would be useful because the channels don’t have numbers so it’s sometimes difficult to quickly navigate to another channel. You would have to use the search option or scroll through the channel guide. 2. The app stores a list of recently watched channels which is helpful for quick navigation but it only stores the last 4 watched channels. It would be more helpful if that amount was increased. 3. The DVR does not have a delete option. Once a show is watched it stays in your library which causes clutter. After a week it’s automatically deleted whether it’s watched or not. Should have the option to leave a recording in my DVR library until I remove it.

I have YouTube TV on my Roku, and I love it! I originally had Hulu on a Fire Stick, but decided to switch to YouTube tv because of the channel lineup and the pricing. Overall, it’s been a great experience and i am definitely glad I switched from Hulu to YouTube TV.

I was so excited to see free cable TV. download the app get everything going and then asked for 39.99 to proceed. How was that free ?

I like the concept and the idea of the app but in order for me to get a feel for the app, I think there should be a small, free trial type of system. I dont wanna pay the 40$ for a month and then end up hating the app!

I didn’t authorize purchase this item And I have a bill by 44$. !!

You conglomerates stole tv, shipped our jobs over seas, charged the country as much as $200.00 a month for tv and now look where tv wound up? And your surprised? Tell ya what, stick all those channels up yooouurrrrrsssssss!!!

I really like the service but the lack of PiP on iOS when the competitors have it may push me back to PSVue. I am holding out hoping it comes.

I am very happy with my change to YoutubeTV. We cut the cord and my husband and son love all the sports options! That was a big reason we switched. Another huge factor was the Apple TV all! I love how intuitive the app is as well suggesting shows based off what we previously watched. The interface is also clean and simple. Here is where improvements can be made: 1. It should have a way to delete a previously watched and recorded show, movie, event. 2. The recently recorded area is not that visible. It should be higher up when you click Library and you shouldn’t have to scroll. Maybe even create a folder near the top. 3. Once you record a movie, it should only record it once not each time it plays. There isn’t an option to record once. Thank you and looking forward to more updates on a great product!

So far I’m pretty impressed! Missing some channels especially VH1 hope eventually they will get it! I signed up Sunday for the free trial and for some reason I was charged the monthly rate. Not happy about that! We’ll see how it goes!!

I’m trying to watch earlier episodes of Riverdale season 2 but it only lets me watch from episode 10. What the hell.

Will not work unless you give it a location and leave it on. Why ask for our zip code then? I dont want location on becahse it depletes the battery on an iPhone quickly. Plus, why is Google REALLY wanting our locations at all times? Since they are shadier than Big Brother I dont even trust Google holding my unopened, sealed bottle of water. They are the most shadiest companies in the world and cant be trusted. Skip this app, skip this way overpriced service. 40 dollars a month just for local TV? Seriously? And a lot more if you want Showtime and other channels? Your youtube tv bill will be just as high as your cable bill!

YouTube TV has all the channels I want and and has the best interface amongst competitors. The ease of paying $35/month with no hassle start and cancellation is by far the best feature. I have 100 MB internet service and have no issues. Only recommendation is to make the DVR shows easier to manage and watch...Comcast and U-verse DVRs are easier to navigate but I’m getting the hang of it. Love my YouTube TV!
