This is a horrible service unless you enjoy “DVR” that REQUIRES you to watch 3:00 min LONG COMMERCIALS on Recorded TV ....Will NOT allow you to watch Live Football or Other Sports Unless your on a Computer (NOT FROM YOUR PHONE) .... Last but not least they Scam you into the “free Trial BUT don’t mention it’s basically IMPOSSIBLE to CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.... so for those of you thinking about that “free trial” GOOD LUCK ! YouTube TV is Horrible Product with Worse customer service!!!

Awesome so far, platform a lot more receptive then Netflix. I can still watch movies or shows with 2 bars of service as where Netflix it wont even log on... still under my microscope as I e only had it for a couple days now. Will leave another review soon!

I got rid of the network mind-controlling crap years ago! Why would I want to buy it from YouTube. STOP CENSORING PATRIOTS!

This app started out having the Cast button. But after a recent update the cast button was replaced by the airdrop button. Not all iPhone users have Apple TV. Bring back the option to cast via the chromecast button.

YouTube TV paired with Netflix and Plex is now serving as our cable tv replacement and we haven’t found anything we’re really missing. We’re not huge TV watchers, but we’ve had no lack of content and have discovered many different shows (Salem, Dark Matter and others) that we didn’t watch before but now watch an episode or two per night before bed. Unlimited DVR has been awesome for picking whatever we feel like watching.

If I don’t watch football or anything,,,, the only sport I watch is ufc,,and of course we like the movies and all,,, the part I’m trying to figure out is what’s different between this and regular YouTube being YouTube alone has a good bit of everything and I have Netflix and a mxq4 with all the goods but on the same token we are chromecast Freaks,,, someone help answer all this please and with what I mentioned we watch about what it runs a month,,, thanks

A) It’s very hard controlling an episode (fwd & rwd) if the phone goes into sleep mode. B) This app should have a sleep timer option. C) chromecast sometimes goes offline and I have to reboot.

I often times am forced to close the app and reopen in order to pause, rewind and fast forward live tv... live tv continues streaming via Chromecast ultra even after shutting down the YouTube tv app on my iPhone, need previous channel button and ability to delete recorded content

For the most part I like the app except I have difficulty with the multi users I have been unable to get it to work for my family and only works for me right now and its kind of expensive but besides that it does exactly what it says it does is it gives perfect local television my favorite premium channels like the news networks that I like. If the price was a little more reasonable and the multi users worked it would be five stars easy

Playback controls stop responding partway through the show when casting to a Chromecast. Only way to get control back is to restart the app. Will be canceling YTV because of this. Also skipping forward/back is a pain. 15 sec is too short. Let user set interval.

I am not able to stream to my TV.

App seems fair and decent and enjoyed streaming and catching up on my Walking Dead but I went to cancel my week trial and they charged me a day early! Suckers are sneaky and I don’t know how to get my money back as apple says it’s a YouTube application.. wont cry over the 43.00 but they are wrong for charging you a day early and provide you with no assistance on Trying to get a refund.

The app is alright. Every time I’m watching a show the app will get stuck, and you won’t be able to fast forward while watching something on the DVR. You have to close out the app and reconnect in order to fix it. Also, the unlimited DVR is only half of what they promised. After 1 week the episodes become on demand episodes WITH commercials, which is lame and makes no sense. Also, sometimes when you’re watching something from the DVR that is currently recording, you’ll have an issue once the next show starts and it gets stuck again, sometimes you’ll click on the episode you were just watching but it will only play the show immediately after the one you had recorded and it takes some Finicking to fix it and get back to the same episode you were just watching. All of these are bugs that should be fixed. Once they are, along with a proper TV guide where I can see the entire day’s lineup, and not just whatever is live on TV now, this app will be much better.

I am not able to stream to my TV. Do not like it. I purchased this via iTunes and now I don’t see anywhere to cancel this.

Great app and great shows to stream but you should make a YouTube tv app for Apple TV and LG smart tv and add more channels like Nickelodeon

There is only one level of parental control setting. Once its on, all channels are blocked except a few kids channel. Need to be able to allow Nat Geo, sports, etc.

I have enjoyed every moment since I said goodbye to direct tv. A few more channel options would be great but it is so easy. At 73 yo I did not have a problem getting it up and going.

Don’t use if you plan on using this for sports. There are very few games on and the chances of them showing your favorite teams are slim.

Can you please add the Nickelodeon channel and teen nick channel thanks ??☺️ and the Cartoon Network channel ??????? keep up the great work

The to guide isnt the best you can only see playing / next show. Please please please release the Apple TV app would make this a 5star!
