YouTube TV is pretty great in a lot of ways, but when using it, I can’t help but notice that there are tiny features that are in YouTube that would make YouTube TV better. 1. “Not interested” button I want this so that when I constantly get recommended Fox News (?) I can tell you guys that I don’t want to see it. 2. ? and ? buttons So that I can signal during or after watching a show whether I want to see more like it. 3. A red-line watched indicator As of now, the app doesn’t have a “watched” indicator. I often ask myself “wait, which episode am I on?” The red line progress bar watched indicator on YouTube would be awesome here. 4. “Dismiss” recorded episodes Under “new episodes” I’d love to be able to dismiss a recorded episode so I can more quickly see what’s new. This dismiss function wouldn’t actually delete the recording, though. 5. Support for the iOS TV app That way I can see offerings from all the services I use all in one place. This should definitely include anything that will air on YouTube TV in the near future. 6. Set shows and movies to record even when they aren’t available on YouTube TV That way, if at any point in the future it airs on TV, it’ll record! That would just be awesome. That way, I’d be able to add movies that are in theaters now that I kind of want to see, so that in a year or two, I might see it recorded and be pleasantly surprised.

I have been a member since Oct, and find the app frustratingly difficult to navigate. Plus, I was under the impression they would be quickly supported on devices like Apple TV, yet they are still not able to get an app on there. It would be amazing for a cheaper monthly subscription price, but I feel it is too high. Also, please please allow the app to play in the background like my YT-red does.

The service is awesome but the AirPlay thing is a major pain.

The controls on the app only work if the app never closes. If the app closes, none of the controls work. Have to disconnect and reconnect and then try to find where you were in a recorded program. PLEASE FIX THIS!!

The app is really nice but the service needs TBS and TNT. Maybe a few less sports channels and add the popular channels that are missing. I am not a fan of streaming from my phone to the tv so I’m still waiting for the Apple TV and Roku apps to be released

Easy to use and easy to cancel by simply unsubscribing the app. Better than real cable service.

On my iPhones and iPad it work great even over LTE. It is impossible to rewind or fast forward via airplay. The stream just freezes and I have to disconnect and reconnect. Fix that and it is 5 stars.

I really wanna give this a try but right now its not worth it for me. Ive already giving up on cable and all i do is stream youtube to my tv but the only cable shows i wanna watch are all on the CW. If you can get CW in the new york area then you are guaranteed a new user.

The channel lineup is ok. Lots of stuff nobody wants, but all in all it’s ok. Seems to work as it should and I don’t have the greatest internet connection (12mbps). There needs to be an option for no commercials on older episodes. I’ll gladly pay for it. But I’m not watching commercials unless it’s live. Period. Full stop. As is, it’s not something I’d pay $40/month for. Close though.

I’m not impressed... i cant stream to my fire stick and streaming to my Apple TV is annoying because it disconnects whenever it feels like it... set tv offer more channels for just 20$ a month and works perfectly on my firestick

While not perfect, it was close enough to cut the cord. Absolutely love this service and highly recommend it if you - travel, have a summer home, like to watch TV anywhere (who doesn’t), and like watching sports. If you use Roku, like me, waiting for the app. Casting for now which is easy to set up, and works well for a small investment.

Said I didn’t have a valid email...I know it is valid check it every 45 seconds when awake!!!

Very upset...... There is a CHARGE for this service. Its not mentioned at all. When you sign up give them all your info then it says the charge $39.99 a month. I am not upset because there is a charge. Just show it before I download and give all info........SNEAKY SNEAKY

To start, needs an Apple TV app ASAP. Without it, I have trouble paying monthly for this. Needs a way to favorite a channel, or have your favorites list. Then I can scroll through live tv of only the channels I watch. Needs better DVR controls.

Over nice app offering for media but frustrating Operating it. There is a sync button on the top of the app to sync to your Tv Roku etc. once you use it and cone back later on your iPhone it’s gone so you can not sync again unless you delete and redone load the YouTube TV app. This happens daily PLEASE fix this as the app is unreliable I and very tired constant deletion and reinstall action of the app to get my sync button back.

I love the service. The app is a little slow sometimes but considering what’s being accomplished it’s remarkable.

Come on... I cannot begin to justify a price that is just shy of 4x more expensive than their competitors. I have all of these channels with skippable commercials for $11/month. I love YouTube, but this is just exorbitant....

No picture in picture? No background playing? These are not hard features to implement. And if there’s some “business” reason for omitting features, that’s bull.

I have tried or researched every available virtual DVR that will work on an iPad. This works much better than Hulu TV or Sling TV (I tried both) and has benefits the others, such as PlayStation View don’t have. It records and plays back flawlessly and handles commercials very well. Hope they provide international service at some point.
