Cut the cable!

Before cutting the cable, I spent a couple of months trying different live tv streaming apps like Hulu, Sling TV, Amazon Prime, and YouTube TV and with all the trials, YouTube TV in my honest opinion was a clutch decision. Not only for it’s affordable subscription rate, but it’s super easy interface. Literally 3 buttons Library, Home and Live, compared to the runner up Hulu, which sadly, I was extremely disappointed how difficult it was to navigate to live tv streaming in comparison to YTTV.

In today’s fast paced, on demand, instant gratification living, ease of use is necessary and YouTube TV does that. They really put thought and care into the overall experience and to me that’s speaks volumes above slick marketing and interfaces with bloat and colorful linear gradients. I am a product designer by trade and I value usability, esp affordable usability. You would be foolish to pass this app up for it’s competitors.
