Apple TV version leaves much to be desired

Live programming keeps jumping to previously recorded programming from the same channel. When I go to the live menu and select the desired channel, it still shows the recorded programming, not the live content.

When you re-open the app, the remote will not work, only the menu button works. The only fixe appears to be restarting my Apple TV.

Very frustrating.
