Extremely reliable and decent interface

Youtube TV has really impressed me with its stability and reliability. I was a little concerned about relying on YouTube TV for the Super Bowl this year but the experience was flawless. I had the program on all day and didn’t experience a single glitch while casting to my TV.

The app interface is much better than the traditional cable program guide but it could use a few tweaks here and there. Pausing doesn’t seem to work while casting for example. And it is sometimes easy to confuse whether you’re going to start playing a program or drill down to more details about it.

The “DVR” could use a revamp. It’s not easy to tell what shows have new episodes to watch versus recent recordings of reruns.

Overall a great replacement for traditional cable TV especially if you’re a Disney, sports, or news fan.
