Love it but needs to fix bugs badly!

I love the app itself and Im very pleased with the channel line up, dvr option and other features.
HOWEVER, I have seen numerous other reviews complaining about the same thing and not once has this been specifically addressed.
WHY is the connection between the phone app and the chromecast so horrible? Every time I turn on the tv it takes literally 10min for the app to recognize my chromecast. And every time I lock the phone and watch a show and then decide to change channels again it either freezes or just doesnt find the chromecast its been casting to. This is a huge issue and can be potentially a deal breaker.
And its def an app issue as I do not experience these problems when streaming Netflix or other things onto my chromecast. Only with YouTube tv does this very unpleasant problem occur.
Please tell us why this is and when you finally attempt to get this resolved or at least improved!
