Pretty good alternative to cable.

I ditched cable because of the excessive bills. YouTube Tv is a good alternative as you can watch local channels, live sporting events and a nice selection of movies. It’s fairly inexpensive.

My biggest gripe is that YouTube TV has been slow to roll out their app to my smart TVs. I have 4 smart TVs in my house. Some are only a year old, and the others are 2 years old (manufactured date). All Samsung or Sony. I don’t understand why there isn’t an app yet directly on the tv. This means I have to purchase a Chromecast device for all of my TVs, which I refuse to do. The point was to eliminate bills, not shuffle my money to another company. I saw a tweet from Google claiming support coming soon for “older” smart TVs, but there really is no information on when that’s going to happen. A month? 3 months? A year?
