Family sharing limitations

I canceled my subscription to google music and moved to another music subscription service because I couldn’t use family sharing. This service has the same limitation. To be a family, google requires that each member have a gmail email address. It cannot be a GSuite address that is hosted by google and it certainly can’t be an outlook.com address.

To be fair, the app itself seems fine. The service is interesting and I would like to buy it. That’s why I’m not giving one star.

It was a lot of effort to switch from google to another service for music but no other service has these family sharing limitations. I will not subscribe to this service either.
