Great concept. Not ready for prime time.

Phone loses connection to chrome cast all the time. Restarting the cast takes you to live rather than where you left off, so useless for DVRing sports. The high speed scrubber is too coarse for any program longer than 10 or 15 minutes.

I really want this to be good, but it’s a frustrating user experience.

Video quality is excellent.
