Meh
Basically an app that lets you watch a limited amount of channels...I imagine the number is channels will grow over time but right now if youre a sports lover and news junkie, its not bad.
Latest update says updated for iPhone X... How? Seems exactly the same and the playback only uses partial screen.
In any case the biggest issue for me is not being able to fast forward through Google-placed ads on many previously recorded shows.. You know, one of the biggest benefits of using a DVR.. in fact, the primary benefit marketed and people bought a DVR for since introduced. Google(?) replaces a shows ads that ran with the program with their own ads...6 of their own each 30-seconds! You cant fast forward past them and if you want to start later in the show, lets say at 45-mins instead of the beginning- no way. Youll have to watch the full length of each set of ads that are in the show up to the point you want to start. Soooooo if you want to FF from 0-45 mins and there are 4 ad sets along the way, be prepared to watch 12 minutes of ads before youre allowed to watch the part you want. To be fair this isnt every program I recorded, but its enough of them I dont bother. It also ruins the ability to show someone else a clip "hey watch this part real quick!" type of thing... You can forget doing that.
