Love the DVR (when it works)

PRO: True to Googles way, things are very easy to learn and use in this app. The DVR has the competition beat and the channel lineup is really great. Also, If you steam through your Apple TV, you can "skip" through commercials in 10 second bursts.

CON: Also true to Googles way, streaming often freezes during commercials and you have to shutdown/restart the app. Its time consuming and frustrating. The inconsistency in performance that is so "consistent" with everything Google is what pushed me from years with Android to the iOS platform and that pattern has held true with YouTube TV being inconsistent. If you "cast" through a ChromeCast, you cannot "skip" through commercials and the app freezes on both the ChromeCast and Apple TV platforms.
